The gist is there are smaller businesses and non-profits everywhere that don’t have the size to support an HR/People Executive full-time. Companies usually need bigger scale to justify it. In my opinion, organizations of all sizes need and deserve to have strategic HR advice, coaching, planning, ongoing help, or projects.
So my clients receive a dedicated ‘fraction’ of my time with every ounce of expertise for a ‘fraction’ of my full-time cost. Some want a tenth of my time, some want a quarter… so I just split myself up like this watermelon! 😂
